Dance-Theatre Performance : Dialogue
The Dance-Theatre Performance: Dialogue was held on December 18, 2016, organized by the Centre for Community Cultural Development (CCCD) in collaboration with BEYOND Bollywood. This engaging performance lasted for 1 hour and 30 minutes and took place with the support of the Jockey Club Black Box Venue Subsidy Scheme. The event showcased a unique combination of various dance forms and styles from different nations and cultures, highlighting the creative collaboration between Beyond Bollywood and Trio Spin Studio. The integration of theatre and dance fostered dialogues that transcended verbal communication, allowing the audience to experience a rich tapestry of movement and expression. Featuring both Bollywood dance and Argentine tango, the performance explored the possibilities of interaction and connection through the universal language of dance, making it a memorable celebration of cultural diversity.

BEYONDancing BOLLYWOOD Night 2016
The first BEYONDancing BOLLYWOOD Night was held on November 23, 2016, in collaboration with the Centre for Community Cultural Development at the Jockey Club Black Box Theatre, located in Shek Kip Mei, Kowloon. This vibrant event was supported by the Jockey Club Black Box Venue Subsidy Scheme, which aimed to promote cultural initiatives within the community. Attendees were treated to a spectacular evening featuring performances from diverse dance teams. Each team brought their unique style and flair, captivating the audience. Additionally, the event showcased two fashion walks that highlighted the rich cultural heritage and creativity of Bollywood.

Very DVRC 2016 - Dancing in City - Activating inner city dance space
Very DVRC aimed to explore the feasibility of returning the core area of Central to pedestrian use, turning individual dreams into a collective urban vision. This event served as a platform for the public to live out their dreams, with a blank space in the middle for attendees to fill in with their own ideas. Organized by Walk DVRC, Clean Air Network, and the Hong Kong Public Space Initiative, and curated by Very Hong Kong, the event transformed a 200-meter stretch of Dufferin Road into a pedestrian-only zone for a day on September 25. Among these were 非常(睇)德—an art film project, 非常(記)德—a series of historical workshops and guided tours, and 非常(跳)德—a dance performance in which Beyond Bollywood participated. Beyond Bollywood held "Dancing in City: Activating Inner City Dance Space," featuring a total of three dance performances by four teams: Jiya Dance, Saffron, Jeet Shadow Studio, and the BEYOND Bollywood volunteer crew.

Global Fiesta 2016
BEYOND Bollywood was invited by AIESEC in PolyU to participate in the Nakupenda! GLOBAL FIESTA, held at Fortune Kingswood Phase II on July 10, 2016. The event aimed to embrace cultural diversity and explore how different cultures celebrate and express love. The fiesta featured guest performances from various teams, including Jeet Shadow Studio, Saffron, and Funjabi Bhangra Hong Kong. Additionally, items from different countries were displayed, highlighting the richness of global cultural expressions. This vibrant gathering provided an opportunity for participants and attendees to engage in meaningful cultural exchange and celebration.

Very Aberdeen 2016 - Dance Without Frontier
The event Very Aberdeen took place on May 15 at the Aberdeen Promenade. This vibrant event featured workshops and artistic activities centered around plants, Aberdeen, and life on the water. BEYOND Bollywood was honored to participate alongside 30 other organizations. One of the highlights of the event was a special performance organized by BEYOND Bollywood called "Dance Without Frontier," which showcased a wide range of Bollywood dance styles. This gathering celebrated the rich cultural heritage of Aberdeen and provided a platform for artistic expression and community engagement.
